"THE SESSIONS" is the book that inspired the motion picture and dream. It is written by PHILLIP LEHN who also adapted the feature film's screenplay and plays the socially awkward and emotionally suppressed protagonist, Sammy Buford.
The novel was inspired by true events and even includes true stories from Lehn's personal life, though it is not autobiographical.
